Hey I’m just leaving for a road trip so I’ll get this fixed up in a few days. Anyway, Connie Chung has singled out the “comics” as something beneath her. Well, Connie, let me tell you a few things.

1. FACT: The comics are FAR more interesting than that news crap that fills the pages of America’s rags.
2. FACT: The comics are FAR more entertaining than articles about rape and murder and mayhem.
3. FACT: The main reason people even bother to read the newspaper is because of the comics.
4. FACT: Your hatred for the funny pages makes you a sick individual. Get help, sicko!
5. FACT: You are an elitist, classist person of low intellectual understanding of what makes a newspaper tick. God only knows how you feel about Bugs Bunny, Road Runner, et al, and it is a good thing your diseased mind did not affect the viewing habits of Americans. PEOPLE DON’T WANT NEWS. THEY WANT TO LAUGH. GIVE THE PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT!

It’s really quite simple, Ms. Chung, I have one question for you: Why do you hate happiness?
